Tried to get Roadrunner, but... Had MediaOne people out last Friday to set up cable modem (roadrunner service). They put in ethernet card, installed cable modem, and...no connection! The techs suspect that my "node" hasn't been activated yet, despite the sales department calling me and saying my neighborhood was wired. I know the telcoms have been very "slow" to hook up DSL. Let me tell you, the cable modem people aren't much better! So here I am, still relying on dial up access. Which reminds me: ATT bought my ISP, the IBM.net. Dial up access hasn't improved a bit! So I have one thing to say: WHAT BROADBAND GLUT??!! DocStone
