So much for chasing previous year hot hands. My positions in PBHG Growth and Van Waggoner Micro Cap have severely underperformed the market and underperformed other funds with similar investment strategies. I am carrying a 29% loss in Van Waggoner fund since I entered about a year ago or less. For that kind of risk, I may as well be fully invested in individual equities instead of funds.
