Big Picture Announces Official Launch of eMERCHANT pro

CALGARY, Nov. 29 /CNW/ - Big Picture Technologies is pleased to announce
the official release of eMERCHANT pro, the only complete e-commerce Web site
in-a-box available. With a street price of less than US$100, this software is
poised to capture significant market share. eMERCHANT pro includes Web site
hosting and domain name registration at no additional charge and is marketed
almost exclusively through the traditional software distribution channel.
eMERCHANT pro also incorporates Telemarketing, a feature unique to the product
that allows merchants to directly engage online customers in a two-way
dialogue.

``The official launch of this product is a crucial watershed in Big
Picture's transition to becoming a fully integrated vendor of Internet
software,' stated the Company's President & CEO, Mike Anthony. ``This is the
first of a series of products Big Picture is bringing to market over the next
few months and we are ecstatic that our original partnership with Morgan Media
to develop this product eventually led to the acquisition of that company.'
The acquisition of Salasan and Morgan Media was announced by Big Picture on
November 12th, 1999.

Anthony added that ``Big Picture anticipates that eMERCHANT pro will sell
approximately 3,500 units in the 4th quarter, despite unexpected delays
related to packaging, and that sales will continue to ramp upwards in
subsequent periods.'
