I got quoted in that WSJ piece too! ;) *blush*

Look folks, there have been so many IPOs recently that it will take all the fund managers, etc. some time to figure out what is what. When they land on the WFII square, they've got to be impressed. Don't assume that us individual investors are behind the curve on these new companies. Many of us on this board were sifting through ipocentral.com looking for gems while the fund managers were out on the golf course. We stay up late at night searching the Net to check on the quality of the management while some of these guys are fast asleep digesting well done steak dinners. The fund managers have to buy literally millions of dollars of stocks every week with all the 401K money that is pouring in. Especially the ones who missed out on this November's awesome tech rally and don't fancy having to explain to their shareholders why their annuals suck compared to the indicies.

Actually, I'm speechless about the tech stock market today. Today simply proves that all price targets are currently meaningless. Everything I have ever sold is higher, in some cases 100% or more. :(.

Some quality IPOs next week too...I'd love some FMKT and some GRIC. IMHO it's all about the management..and being pure plays with little competition in sectors with the potential for explosive growth...avoid any IPO where the founder(s) of the company have been put out to pasture...that's a complete negative. If the exec list includes lawyers and venture capital people I would also avoid (they are OK if they are on the board).

Good luck to all.

Let's make some money here.
