Last Friday, the Advisory Board approved the Treatment IND for Cephalon as the first step for an accelerated New Drug Application (NDA) approval. The Treatment IND is a special step design to accelarate the approval process which usually take 1 yr to complete. If everysteps go right Cephalon could get approval at the end of 96 or beginning of 97.

Usually an treatment IND does not require an Advisory Board meeting this is the very first time it happens. This indicates that the Agency does not want to bear the political burden as delaying treatment for a serious disease.

Hope to all that Cephalon stock will hit big time on Monday!
