there are those within IOM who are comparing the new CEO designate as an aggressive intelligent version of Kim Edwards. I spoke with an IOM VP today who stated he was "very excited" about developments. Potential soon to be announced zip based camera; even as Shiela has stated. They've been working on the Zip based camera for a long time now. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

and now four MP3 players building clik! based MP3s.

asked again about the qtr over qtr zip disk sales (2nd to 3rd). they stated it was an aberation (one large OEM buyer came in at the end of qtr and made significant purchase for year); no sign of such a negative pattern developing, just the opposite. they stated 250 zips were taking ever greater portion of zip sales. high margin on 250s are helping offset any potential negatives on 100.

they're excited about dreamcast for first qtr of next year. they're already experiencing increased needed buildup for that product since sales of dreamcast are breaking all former expectations.

go ahead Ken. put the liquor back in your old lady's bag, and stop laughing. welcome to IDA, Iomega Drunkards Anonymous. Today, IOM's gods were smiling as they were finally recovering from their post comedex hangovers; and beginning to do some real analysis on IOM's future.
