I'm not a professional venture capitalist but I do a lot of investing in venture capital deals. I heard of CDT through a friend in London who had heard of the company. We checked out the technology and found out they were doing some fund raising. We got in touch and got involved. Old fashioned leg work and following up on leads :) Also I work in the capital markets, derivatives trader, and sometimes hear of interesting deals through friends. Re the symbol I don't know if one has been designated yet.
