I would like to thank Rick and MZ as well. I had visited NBIX in June of 1998 and was very impressed with Lyons, the scientific talent (from the point of view of a non-scientist--of course-- but who has visited about 15 other biotechs) and what they were trying to accomplish. However, I thought it was too early to buy so I began following the company and the comments from MZ and Rick here on SI. Their comments kept me interested. During the summer, I accumulated a very nice position (for me anyway) as they frequently reminded us of the great value the market was then ignoring in the lower tier biotechs. Great job gentlemen!
