Jill, Poet, thank you for your replies. I have heard of Northpoint and receive flyers of many colors and persuasions hawking high speed internet connections when I mosey on over to J&R Computers on Park Place. Invariably, when I give the sidewalk santas my telephone prefix, they smile wanly, apologize that "we're not in your neighborhood yet" and shuffle off after new prey. I commute daily, but live in the near boonies, at least as far as modern telecommunications is concerned. That's why, at least so far, I'm waiting to see what another dish on my roof will do. Steve
