Well, I just went and lurked the CSCO thread. Very interesting perspectives on fixed wireless and what it means for CSCO. As a complete non-techie it seems to me it cuts into QCOM's potential market, at least as I envisioned it--because I figured it would be more than zillions of cellphones and wireless accessories, I also thought it would include wireless computers at home. Of course, it also cuts into telcos and cable. All I can say is there's huge demand for fast easy bandwith. In Boston the phone company is way behind on installing DSL lines & customers are apparently angry. I guess we'll just keep watching the game, and the players coming at it from all sides. It is a fascinating time.
