Glenn, I came home to my Dell catalog titled "Break-through RDRAM & 733 mhz processors!" Here is a DELL price comparison. (Sorry for the formatting, I thought if I typed it all out it would look OK). Processor 700 733 Memory 64 mb SDRAM at 100 mhz 128 RDRAM at 400 mhz Disk 27.3 gb 7200 rpm 27.3 gb 7200 rpm Monitor 19" Trinitron 19" Trinitron CD 8x DVD 8x DVD Graphics Card 32mb NVIDIA geFORCE 32mb NVIDIA geFORCE Speakers Harman Kardon HK-595 Harman Kardon HK-595 Modem Lucent 56K Conexant 56K Printer HP DeskJet 895Cse Epson Stylus Color 740 Add-on Storage 100 mb ZIP Drive ---- Price $3,199 $3,399 The 600 mhz system is $2,199 for 64mb SDRAM and $2,399 for 128mb RDRAM. The RDRAM system has a 20 gb hard drive versus 13gb for the sdram system. This comparison has the same printer with no extras. Given the extra performance the $200 seems worth the incremental cost at the mid and upper end of the market. Cheers, Lee
