- are some of these plays off of OptionInvestor? No. How I get 43%. You start at today's closing price of QCOM of 371. Then in 3 weeks you sell QCOM for a total of $ 530, the difference is 530 - 371 = 159. Then 159/371 = 43% for less than 3 weeks. edamo's post " ... stock up dec 500" : he means sell as many as you can dec 500 calls (short). Hope that helps. Paul
