Corel rockets on rumour ... Investors will get more details of Corel's Linux plans today when Michael Cowpland, Corel's president and CEO, hosts a press conference to discuss Corel's Linux strategy. Today is also the last day of Corel's fourth quarter. Alex Baluta, technology analyst at Merrill Lynch Canada, predicts Corel has earned 12c a share on revenue of $73-million (US) in the fourth quarter. That assumes no revenue from Linux products, which started shipping only recently.... canoe.ca
