Kodak DryView™ 8600 Laser Imaging System

For Digital Mammography is Now Available

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 1--Eastman Kodak Company today announced that the Kodak DryView™ 8600 Laser Imaging System for mammography, including Kodak DryView Mammography Laser Imaging Film, is now available worldwide. The new laser imaging system will be exhibited in Kodak's booth number 7554 at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society
of North America, November 28 through December 2, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The laser imaging system provides diagnostic-quality film output for DICOM and non-DICOM digital modalities used to image the breast. Both the imager and the film were specifically designed for emerging full-field digital
mammography systems (FFDM). Health care facilities can use the DryView 8600 Laser Imaging System today in conjunction with digital spot, digital stereotactic and ultrasound imaging—and apply it to FFDM solutions as they are implemented.
