marginmike, nobody can predict when or what the next "exogenous shock" will be. Maybe it is Y2K. I don't have an answer.

I just use previous history for *illustrative purposes*.. that things were not the same in the past as the decade of the 90's stock wise.

Had we not been in this greatest Bull market of all time do you really believe we would have 55%+ public participation?? I hardly doubt it.

The herd mentality always conform to the masses and this has not been an overnight event, but at a minimum of 10 years..
