Fuchi goes way back to the Prodigy days when things were peaceful and quiet, and then we all transerred to the Internet, and came face to face with Paul, Elmer, Yousef, and the like. As you know the noise level is high here, and Fuchi made gallant and vocal defenses on the Cyrix and the AMD boards.
One thing we could always depend on was his technical knowledge of the PC, especially how to put one together. He had many contacts in Taiwan and posted valuable Asian news here. I surely missed him when the earthquake hit Taiwan and we didn't have Fuchi to report for us. Fuchi was always honest and wrote things as he saw fit. The latter didn't go well with the webmistress.
He crossed swords with PEY and the like, but was no match for their viciousness to destroy him. He regularly pi**ed on Paul, called Elmer liar, and I shall not repeat the names he used on Yousef. While Paul could call others slime buckets and worse and get away with it, Fuchi was repeatedly warned by the webmistress and subsequently removed from SI. He came back to SI in various reincarnations, but always got in more trouble with the webmistress.
Someday his redemption will come. I expect him to be back when AMD hit 100, post split.
