John, yes, new Dell uses Celerons or PIIIs. Configurates and looks a lot like an iMac. Would you believe the most successful PC company copying Apple? No floppy drive in it. Am I the only legacy freak left that feels naked without being able to move data extremely cheaply from one PC to another via floppy drive? iMac has no floppy drive, either, but Apple apparently has always enjoyed being off the wall anyway. The new Dell starts at $999, almost high nowadays for an entry level machine, and includes a force-fed one year of Dell ISP service. I'm afraid the new Dell won't help sell a lot of Intel chips.
