I have had some time comparing with office. I find its much faster then office, and as for crashing, I have had no crashes nor lockups. This is for the Solaris version and the Win98 version. I have a T1 coming in at work so I downloaded it early in the morning and put it on my zip drive and took it home. Its worth the 10 bucks, yes MSFT is giving great educational discounts but I bet if the universities get this product, they would choose it over ms office because its good and free. And coming from a university myself, I know about their spending constraints. I graduated from McMaster University, mostly SUN campus! I will update you after some time and comparing wiht wordperfect as well. Thanks.
