Just bought some Ampex (axc)@ 4 7/8. My buddy who owns a Hollywood production company just told me that Ampex now has a video and audio streaming technology that's superior to Sony. Do you remember way back Ampex was the king of tape? Ampex invented the VCR, unfortunately for them the Japanese superior manufacturing process at the time killed them. A come back in the making? I hope so. You join me (in at 4 1/8 quite a while ago) and my brother (in at 3/4 also quite a while ago). Very speculative from my vantage point. They got all this crappy tvontheweb stuff [ tvontheweb.com ] going on, which when I have looked has done very little to showcase their delivery technology. Oh well, I guess their expertise is in digital video storage, which will be big big big. Maybe they can make some money. Randy
