Although I think it's great that Valley has signed this deal with FAO Schwartz, one part of the press release confused me. According to the release, the deal with FAO is effective as of October 4, 1999. It seems odd to me that they would wait a month and a half after the deal went into effect, and presumably several months after the deal was signed, to announce this to the public. Were they doing this just to be able to present a news blast during their peak season to build up interest? If so, should we expect more such releases in the coming days or weeks? If anyone familiar enough with the area could shed some light on why a company would go about it this way I would appreciate it. Dave
