Badkarma, You know that I'm a Christian, and I believe that the only way for salvation is through Jesus Christ. It would be wrong to say that I don't want other people to believe in Jesus, as well. When you have something that is wonderful, it's only natural that you would want to share it. And having said this, the point of my earlier message was, that if I have explained all that I can with you about Jesus, which I think I've done pretty well, and you choose not to agree with my beliefs, I will still respect you, and love you as a fellow human being. As Jesus said "Love one another." He didn't say "Only Love people who agree with you."
John.15 [17] This I command you, to love one another.
Gal.5 [14] For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Matt.5 [43] "You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' [44] But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [46] For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? Luke.6 [31] And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them. [32] "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. [36] Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
1Cor.4 [21] What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of gentleness?
When we discuss the Bible, I wish more people would consider the teachings of Jesus.
