Well now Sally, not sure I claim to know "stock broker language" but the Ryan Beck/SE Research item does not fill me with excitement since Ryan Beck already has a relationship with COB and a common thread is also Ms di Stefano; a bit of inbreeding, if you will. "News" would be if a previously disinterested party were to take notice of COB and offer some positive commentary. Can't say whether the "recommedation" you spotted on Yahoo was instrumental in regard to the stock's move. Sorry not to be more helpful.
