I skip it... it is very VERY ridiulous. There was a time about 5 years ago when you could get decent insurance but then the state government got involved and screwed the entire thing up. It's really pathetic. I suppose it's worth it if you have a lot of equity in your house...but If I have to pay the first $100K why bother with insurance... There's no way I'm going to get $100K in damage. I could rebuild my entire damn home for $200K. Sheesh!
