Come on, people, we're trying to demonstrate that the thread can get along without adult supervision, so let's make a real effort to keep things on target. To repeat some basics that most here agree on: stock discussion should generally be related to G&K methodology; short-term price movements are not usually of great interest unless they are related to something more fundamental; trading strategies, options, et al. are not an inherent part of GGaming.

One implication of all this is that a post beginning, "I know X isn't a gorilla but it's about to pop" should be met with a polite reminder of thread guidelines, not an extended discussion of what is and isn't "popping."
