Hi Michael - I cancelled Datatrak for a refund. In my opinion it's not worth much - period.

However I have found two services I'm staying with that are not that expensive: Both are nightly services available from www.margin.com.

"Daily Technical Market Comment" by Larry Katz is a professional-quality technical analysis and commentary on the market and it's probable future direction. No specific OEX trading recommendations but he has been quite accurate on the general market direction. This is the first thing I read each day. I am not sure about his stock recommendations track record since I pick my own stocks. (In last nite's report he was expecting an end to this recent advance.) He has a two-page report during the week and a longer report on the week-end.

I also subscribe to Downing's "T.A.P.E." with specific OEX Put and Call recommendations. His service seems simplistic, but seems to have worked well the last month or so. (I haven't traded it yet - I am still watching it.)

I use these reports to determine whether to hedge my positions or not. I haven't been doing much with OEX Options, but rather with stock options now that the market is performing better. (Calls on TALK is my biggest option holding. Fidelity went over 5% in TALK holdings in February.)
