James,

There are fundamental differences between creating something, having sovereignty, and abusing power.

My wife and I have created children. We are responsible for them, and in their infancy I guess you could say we have a sort of sovereignty over them.

However, at no point during their life, are we inherently better than them, have more value than they do, nor can we ever have the right to abuse them.

If you saw a person torturing a child on the street, you would be revulsed and would immediately help that child. You would do everything in your power to see that the moonster who hurt that child received help and/or punishment. either way you would be disgusted.

Why do you view that behavior as disgusting in a human, but in a divine nature(which should be more enlightened, not less) you view it as righteous and just?

Mark
