The theme was toward product-based, later-
stage companies 'with data'. Silverman noted
recent reports on NBIX, CEPH, ABGX and used
the call to highlight those three at least
twice each.

Magainin was given as an example of a stock
that they are watching closely, that despite
the problems with the FDA 'has a backup',
probably referring to Squalamine, tho he did
not mention it by name. He noted that the FDA
fiasco (my word not his), may not be over with
...and that is pretty much how we have felt here
on the thread and over on Yahoo.

Overall, I still feel pretty good about having
bottomfished this one down at 1 1/4...but after
listening to the tape also feel like an bit of
an idiot for not having stayed in NBIX. Flipping
a coin between Synaptic and Neurocrine was not
a particularly skillfull method for stock picking,
and I should have just sat with 1000 shares of each
--especially with SNAP being so much further from
generating 'data' etc etc...and the fact that NBIX
had this phase II data as well at the presentations
and better analyst coverage, I really blew it there.

Yesterday's pop and today's little sag back could
have been because of that vcall tape anticipation.
