Thanks, Stephen. I would imagine that the following caught your eye, especially:

"Reports suggest that Netscape has folded the America Online instant messaging client directly into a new left-hand pane of the browser interface, but the company won't confirm that new look. However, Netscape partner Net2Phone says its voice-over-Internet-protocol service is a featured "button" on the browser."

Placed side by side, what are the MSFT IE candidates that do the same things? NetMeeting's voice over IP versus NTOP's? That would take care of the "client side" but how about the network side? And what of the Instant Messaging feature... what is MSFT's variant called? And will it be interoperable with AOL's?

I suppose that I should know, but I don't.

Frank
