You liked that loser post, huh? OK here are others. . . I have gained, lost, gained and lost again on CORL. . . very hard to know which way to play. . .as soon as I make up my mind, it starts heading the other way. All in all, I love the company and like I said a few days ago, I have been using their products for about 8 years. At this point, I am probably somewhere about even and worried about tomorrow's direction.
Very glad I sold all my MMPT and my ATHM. . .others I am glad I sold a while ago include CNXT, HLIT, and ADFC. Been only holding core position of HEAR from about 11, since about 22. . . same with LQID. . .both those took big hits on todays correction, but then we have all made some serious money on both of those, as they have both doubled in a short time.
Sure glad I added LDIG this week, it is a monster. . . been making money buying and selling XYBR. . .I am impressed the way it always comes back after a drop. . . makes it easy to time for extra cash.
IRSN gave back yesterdays gains, but also put it back in buy territory as a maker of wearable components. . .it should run with XYBR, when IBM finally announces what goes into making the new wearable that they announced the day after coming to terms with XYBR!
BDE gave some back. Likewise, NSATF was a big loser today. . .but then we saw that one coming. T and AMD were the two biggest losers. . .but T was by far the nastiest. . . who would have predicted a 4+ point decline today?
OH! Here is one. PlayCo and PLCOP declined sharply today. That really hurt my equity. . .but then I am holding from .375 and have flipped it so many times that most all the shares are probably free and then some. . . . so I don't even look at how it is doing. . . I just count the days until the next news item.
Lost some money in Compaq today, too. Down 9/16 more today. . . I think I bought it a few dollars higher. . . but then, I didn't buy it in a trading portfolio, just for long term. . . so I shouldn't really be looking at daily performance. . . best to check back on it every 2 weeks, like we do our long portfolios.
So that should give you a bit more comfort. . .LOL. . . funny how misery loves company. <g>
Be sure to keep good track of those swing and position trades and dont be too eager to give up your gains.
