The Yahoo stunt is to be expected. Adding or removing certain stocks to an index is used to prop up issues in dark times.

For example, Ebay was added to the Naz 100 2 days after it announced that a total of 15 million insider shares were filed with the SEC for immediate sale.

If you think the game isn't rigged, you're wrong.

The powers in charge will do anything to keep the bubble going. They'll print more money, they'll DOUBLE the amount of margin debt you can get into, they'll cook the jobs report, and if none of that works they'll start taking out all the stocks in the index that are going down, and replace them with stocks that are going up.

You can't win by being short. The most you'll get is a day or two of down, because the big guys KNOW they have to throw the shorts a bone every now and then or there won't be any shorts to base rallys on.
