On the subject of men and women and bathrooms. A long time ago I read about a case in which an armed man entered a business establishment and robbed the place, and in the course of the robbery executed some employees, presumably so that there would be no witnesses to the crime. I think of this particular horrible crime quite often, because of this striking fact: One employee, a woman, survived the crime; and she survived because when the shooting began, she ran away-- into the ladies room. The gunman pursued her, but when he arrived at the door saying "Ladies," he simply turned and left, stymied.
