I didn't hear it, but I gather it was another bit of silliness. It's true that using XML does not represent a competitive advantage for Windchill; it's a necessity for the product's very identity by definition. I agree with Joel that the stock is going to reflect the tugs of the potential of Windchill vs. the issues of back-end loading in the current quarter as the company makes the transition. It's a bumpy ride (quoting that great line spoken by Bette Davis) and not for the faint of heart. The upgrades and stock price tun-up were kind of precautionary, you know? No one wanted to get caught short (forgive the pun) in case the company said something really new and super at the meeting.
