Sales were up 17%. Gross margin improved from 59.5% to 61.9%.

So why isn't DLGC making more money? R&D spending increased by 38%, and selling-gen'l-admin increased by 36%. R&D spending makes sense; Howard Bubb referred to DM3 as the largest research program in company history.

SGA, however, does not make sense. If the company doesn't clamp down with cost controls, there will not be a rosy future. SGA needs to be limited to no more than the rate of sales increase, if not lower.
