"Broadband and high speed internet access seems to be going real slow."

Kevin,
No not really. It was slow for the past 5 years, but 1999 showed extremely strong growth. There is projected to be 1 million cable modem users and 1 million DSL(I think this is too high) users by year end. So that's 2 million broadband users in what has turned out to be the first year both services were really put on the front burner by the cablecos and telcos. Albeit, it's been talked about for five years or more, but this year it's for real.

Was anything specifically said by SEG in regards to how they would benefit from broadband rollouts? Or was it just the usual general commentary?
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)
