Compaq Aiming at "Water"
BEIJING, November 30, AsiaPort -- At the Beijing '99 International
Water Conservancy Technical Equipment Exposition, opened on November
12, Dr. Yu Xinchang, president of Compaq (China) Investment Co Ltd
claimed that Compaq will invest US$ 1 million to co-establish a water
resource solution R&D center with China's conservancy department.Compaq
also invited ESRI, ERDAS, SAIC from the US, OCEANOR from Norway and
Tsinghua Tongfang, Disney as its partners to show up at the exposition.
