Walt: My "stability of an internut" was a tongue in cheek remark. I did not intend to hurt your feelings. But you have been very vigorous propagating a doom and gloom view this evening and since this is a public board you must have known that readers would want to respond with equal vigour.

Do you remember the 80's when authors advising people to sell everything, convert it to gold and silver, buy canned food and a gun and go live in caves, were dime a dozen?

The fact is the internut craze could end in a collapse - but all the prophets of doom have been wrong so far - at least as to the timing.

Besides you don't need internuts to impoversih you. Just buy COMPAQ at the wrong time and say goodbye to 65% or CA or ORCL or AAPL or LSI or a host of others which will reduce you 50-60% in no time at all. Who knows, those who bought DELL at $57/58 ($115 pre-split) must be feeling pretty sore now almost a year later.
