Greg M., re: your post on Yahoo...I disagree with your assessment that Q is one idea away from being on the brink of being bypassed with a better technology. Perhaps you didn't mean it when you posted.

Even if a demonstrably better technology were developed, there still are many hurdles a competitive threat has to overcome. Announcing a breakthrough is one thing, bringing it to market in a timely matter is another thing entirely.

Even if HDR did NOT exist, Q is still projected to grow their earnings 50% a year compounded just by growing the buildout of their existing CDMA infrastructure. That is there even if nothing else positive were to happen with Q.

I spoke with IR recently and asked them about the recently announced Japanese co-venture for developing WCDMA and how that could affect Q. IR's response was that nobody has announced a commercially viable WCDMA system ready for market. I can't remember their exact words, but it was something to this effect. "Companies announce development deals all the time. None of it counts until it's commercially viable..."

One of the reasons I like Q is that the barrier to entry is huge. Technology barriers, infrastructure barriers, investment barriers...

As time goes Q only becomes stronger and stronger. I know this may come off as being 'rah-rah' but the truth is the truth, regardless of how it sounds.
