your statement is not true.
the earth is billions of yrs old and the gap doesn't specify time
between first creation of earth and the fall of lucifer which was a disaster to earth . then God destroyed the creation and the time is not known.

so, now you learned some facts about the gap.
there is NO SCIENTIFIC FIND TODAY THAT REFUTES THE GAP THEORY AS
LAYED OUT.

THIS IS WHY ACTUALLY SEEKING THE TRUTH IS IMPORTANT.
NO ONE SEEKS THE TRUTH WITH THEIR MIND MADE UP ..

now many finds indicate a massive flood thouands of years over.
but that was the noahic flood not the satanic flood.

Plus the gap indicates that God covered the earth with water and then shut all light from it..all light.zero radiation.

now what happens when all light is shut off from earth and it is covered with water....
