hi dan thats interesting. i had not heard of wi-lan. i have put it on my screen to dd. speaking of small alta companies there is one called cellular locators that had gone from around $2.00 to $22.00 in the last little while. they have a technology that complies with a new law that all new cell phones must have a locating device in it starting sometime in the next 12 months. the people that started it are all university of calgary professors i believe. there is at least one u.s. firm that has the same technology however there is a lot of business out there. might be worth a look for you. clq.al charlie
