Jill, fwiw, I've talked to several people who plan on buying Q after the split -- and, no matter what I said about the possibility of buying it 'pre', almost all of them said they are going to wait until 'after'. My point is, there is the 'train of thought' out there that the price of Q will be driven up, during the first part of January, by all of those who are waiting. It's really 'your call' -- just trying to be helpful by putting everything into perspective.
