George,
I see you are a newcomer to G&K, so you may not be familiar with our ways around here. Although lots of other stuff was involved (all of which is, or should be, water under the bridge at this point), one of the reasons Frank left was that he was a bit frustrated in having to put up with people who "didn't have time to review all 11,000 posts" and yet wanted information and advice. This thread is devoted to investment discussions centered around a common methodology, deriving from the "Gorilla Game" by Geoffrey Moore et al. You can find links to glossaries and other information in the first post. We've had a bit of a problem with thread bloat recently, so you might want todo a bit of homework before posting again. Once you've RTFM (read the friggin' manual), lurked for a while, and mastered the basics of "gorilla gaming," we'll be delighted to have your contributions.
prosperous investing,

PS BTW, there are many extremely seasoned and successful investors around here who feel that "reviewing all 11000 posts"--well, the first several thousand at least<GGG>--is as worthwhile an investment of time as you'll ever make. |
