NEWS RELEASE

Omicron Announces The Launch Of InvestorNewz.com

Omicron Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: OGPS) is pleased to announce the launch of InvestorNewz (www.investornewz.com), an investment information Web site for online self-directed investors and the entire investment community, on December 8, 1999. InvestorNewz will distinguish itself from other investment sites by providing unique investment content and professional level information on all publicly trading companies and mutual funds in the U.S. and Canada. The site will feature an easy-to-view graphical user interface and provide investors with an extensive package of "free real-time" information services, including: stock quotes, stock news from around the world, newsletters, stock portfolio tracking and charts, stock market commentary and analysis, stock splits & IPO information, earnings, SEC filings, company news and analyst coverage (upgrades & downgrades).

The primary goal of the InvestorNewz is to provide as much free real-time content as possible which otherwise would be a cost to users, and to expose these viewers to our Wall Street Pool stock game. The cost of this service will be subsidized by revenues generated by the game. Wall Street Pool is a weekly online stock investment game that allows participates, who register on the Web site and pay the $10 entry fee, to select five NYSE and/or NASDAQ listed stocks (trading over $5) that they believe will have the greatest return over the following week. The winners will receive 50% of the total entry fee. In addition, 10% of the total entry fee each week will go into a progressive jackpot that will allow participants to have another chance to win by correctly guessing both the Dow Jones and NASDAQ indices at the close of the week. If there is no winner, the jackpot will carry forward and accumulate into the following week. The remaining 40% of the total entry fee will be revenue to the company.

Omicron Technologies, Inc. is in the business of acquisition, research and development, and marketing of leading edge technologies and Internet-based business concepts. Through a combined strategy of focusing on specific marketing niches and speedy development of its proprietary technologies, Omicron expects to gain significant market penetration in these areas.
