Make money? Now thats so crass. Esp when 50% of short term gains go to various taxing partners. PRCM should do well over the long term. DSS has some interesting disruptive features (its NAS are dirt cheap, the team working on NAS represent the frustrated engineers and group is structured in tracking company). No guarantees of stellar performance. It will take the adoption of NAS by smaller IT groups at mid-sized companies to start the ascent of revenues. But after a talk this morning with a former DEC employee about what a "backplain" is, and just how efficient the quasi NAS DEC was using internally in the 1980s was I remain quite attracted to the idea. His arguement against it was almost too fitting. To paraphrase "It won't work now, bandwidth is too expensive. At DEC we had an internal fiber backbone in place." Hmm
