TWY,

<What do you mean by an "additional stepping"? Is this just Intel speak for shooting the gates smaller? My guess on Intel's release schedule has been: (barring any Athlon interference) >

Additional stepping typically means mask sets (could be one or could be many depending on the need)

<Nov 1 733MHz
Feb 1 800MHz
May 1 867MHz
Aug 1 933MHz
Oct 1 1000MHz (Wilamette)

Could you give your guess on Intel's release schedule ..>

Actually I think Intel can do a little better than 933MHz in Q3 - based on what I am hearing about 0.13.

<..as well as AMDs ?? >

I expect 800 or better in Jan; 900 or better by March; and 1G by early to mid Q2. Assuming Dresden is up and running, by the time Q3 is done we should be talking 1.2-1.4G. IMHO, Intel may not have much on AMD without 0.13.
