As far as I'm concerned Ronald Reagan kept his "promises"... The point is that the President isn't King and he has to deal with the political realities of the opposition party. Only the Brutal Rapist King had the chutzpah to shut down the government to get his way. Previous presidents worked out compromises..... bp
