No, I don't. When I looked at the INVX/HTCH issue a couple of years ago I concluded that HTCH had a fundamental advantage because they make the mechanical suspension and the mechanical properties of the completed integrated suspension structure are critical and difficult to control. INVX just makes the flexure with electrical traces, which then has to be attached (bonded) to a suspension made by someone else.

Seagate seems to have disagreed and sees some advantage in the INVX flexure which merits separate engineering the integration of flexure with suspension. What that advantage is, who does that engineering, and who does the physical integration are all specifics about which I have no clue. If someone happens to know more I would be dearly appreciative if they shared on this thread. Having made a conclusion one must always then seek specific reasons to reverse it :o)
