I suggest everyone read Phil Fisher's "Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits", written in the 50's. It will change the way you look at investing--no more worries about quarterly earnings projections! He stresses the long term outlook for the business coupled with the importance of management. With VFI, we have excellent examples of both. Don't lose sight of 1998, 1999, 2000, ........
