Jack -
re: too bad there is no one at cpq that feels as strongly about it that they could talk in that manner
I strongly disagree. I am appalled at these comments by MSD. He is out shilling the stock, maybe because he has nothing else to talk about. I am very disappointed by the Webpc - a potentially innovative concept which is priced and packaged way wrong. DELL is getting their ass kicked in the consumer space, CPQ is cleaning house and appears to have picked up virtually all of the business left on the table by IBM and Packard-bell... DELL has no comeback in the commercial space for iPaq...

MSFT, Intel, etc. NEVER hype their stock price, just the opposite - "this can't continue, don't expect similar gains in the future" - then let results speak for themselves. I would be surprised and disappointed if anyone at CPQ started hyping the "value play" on CPQ's stock price. The situation and future potential are obvious. Let results speak for themselves.

Of course you are looking to get a pop before year-end, and I am not concerned about time frame.
