Brazil is currently signing up customers.. On Sunday I was on a flight from Sao Paulo to Rio and opened up the Varig inflight magazine and what did I find.. A 2 page full color advetisment for G.. Complete with a toll free number in Brazil to call for Information.. Of course I called and found the information quite interesting.. They are sending me an information package to my friends address in Sao Paulo.. They will forward it to me in the states.. Visited one of the GWs in Brazil.. It seemed operational comparing it to the Clifton GW is saw 3 months ago.. Now today I am in Porto Alegre in the agriculturial region of Brazil.. Near the Argenten border.. I was watching the local ¶gricultural TV channel.. and what do I see... A Globalstar sponser bug on the clock being displayed on the screen.. They also ran about a 10 second commercial.. This is on the RBS network here in Porto Alegre.. I picked up a couple copies of the Varig inflight magazine if you would like a copy.. I will send it to you.. And I will send one to you also Alreadyold.. Send me some E-mail with a PO Box to send the magazine too.. I would prefer a PO Box rather than a personal address.. I am sure you understand.. Just as a note.. IRIDIUM had a add also jin the Varig magazine.. But they were only pushing their pager service not voice sector products.. The Iridium ad was in English.. The G ad was in Portugese.. We are going to stop by the TV station and see if we can bribe a copy of the G* 10 second promotion.. Interesting news about the preferred conversion.. Ill (sorry about the lack of hyphens, but I can not find one on these darn Portugese keyboards) be back in the US on Saturday for 4 day in NY.. Regards, PCSTEL
