I don't know either... I didn't mean to imply I had a firm position on this... its an odd phenomenon and is showing up in the papers around here since the SF schools are being sued by the Chinese community for discrimination. Of course once the quotas are removed certain top schools will be largely homogeneous Chinese. Imo this is not in their best interest, since academic skills are not lacking in that community... creativity is.
